For Immediate Release
(COLUMBUS, Neb.) – A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal. It also fosters good health and represents hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are a central part of a healthy and optimistic community. That’s the message Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) is spreading during National Hospital Week from May 6-12.
As part of this celebration, CCH invited community members to witness a proclamation by mayor James Buckley to officially declare National Hospital Week in Columbus. The proclamation took place on Monday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. in CCH’s main lobby.
View the full proclamation here.
CCH is also encouraging community members to join in on social media to help recognize the hospital employees who make CCH a welcoming, caring environment. During the week of May 6-12, log on to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and use the hashtag #MyHospital to show your appreciation for our hardworking staff members.
National Hospital Week, first and foremost, is a celebration of people. CCH is extremely proud of each one of its staff members and hospital leaders work hard to recognize the important role they play in caring for our patients and community. During, National Hospital Week, please join in on our celebrations to help us celebrate their work.
