Blaser receives CCH appointment Nicole Blaser, RN, was recently appointed Director of Performance Improvement at Columbus Community Hospital. Blaser will assume leadership responsibilities for safety coordination, performance improvement and patient outcomes. She will also be responsible for safety coordination, infection control, risk management, JCAHO accreditation, reporting of regulatory data and physician credentialing.
Blaser has been an employee of Columbus Community Hospital since 1999. Prior to her appointment as Performance Improvement Director, Blaser was an Acute Care staff nurse, Swing Bed case manager, Skilled Nursing Unit clinical manager and Joint Effort program coordinator.
Blaser received her ADN Degree from Central Community College in Grand Island and is currently participating in the Nebraska Hospital Association Leadership Institute and working toward her BSN.
Blaser and her husband, Nic, reside in Columbus and are the parents of two children, Samuel and Madelyn.
