Bennett joins CCH's rehabilitative staff

Julie Bennett has joined the Rehabilitative Services staff of Columbus Community Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist with the hospital, Bennett will specialize in orthopedic and neuro rehabilitation and provide services to Home Health, Swing Bed and Acute Care patients.

After graduating from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, Bennett was employed at Madonna Rehab where she specialized on the Traumatic Brain Injury team. She was most recently employed at Key Rehabilitation in Murfreesboro, TN as a regional supervisor and therapist specializing in long term care facilities involving wheelchair assessments, safety and fall prevention, home safety assessments, and regular OT treatment of strength, self cares, and balance.

Bennett is originally from Lindsay, Nebraska and is currently living in Columbus with her husband, Jamie, and three children.
